She currently rules the long distance racing world. Starting out at 19 ‘Rinny’ represented Australia during 2001-2005 at the ITU World Champs, collecting two silver medals and another over the world long course. The silver lining was winning her first 70.3 World Championship in 2007 and just three years later her first Ironman world championship title. Finishing second and third respectively the next two years in 2013 she reclaimed her crown along with the course and run record. 2014 she became just the fourth women in history to win three Ironman World Championships, claimed another coveted title at Challenge Roth and married fellow triathlete Tim O’Donnell.
