I was strongly encouraged through school to move away from team sports and into endurance events after excelling in fitness testing. Having flirted with the sport through university he got serious in 2007. Tim is one of the most consistent performers on the half-distance circuit with the capacity to race over the half distance more than most, consistently on the podium on the US circuit and back in Australia. He finished third at Challenge Bahrain in 2014 amongst a star-studded field and in 11 races only missed the medals on three occasions. 2015 began on a high with wins at the Asia Pacific 70.3 Championship, 70.3 Philippines and second place at Challenge Dubai.
His strong bike/run combination always puts him in contention.
